The Autumn Cup
Dedicated to all lovers of the sea and sailing and those who do not want to miss out on a one-of-a-kind experience, the Barcolana takes place every year on the second Sunday of October in Trieste. The international sailing regatta, celebrating its 58th anniversary this year and scheduled for Sunday 11 October 2026, combines a competitive race with a popular sailing spirit – turning Trieste into the European capital of sailing.

The Este24 class returns to the Barcolana

The tentative programme for the event is as follows:

Wednesday, 7 October: arrival and launch of boats, finalisation of registrations and measurements, and stamping. Opening ceremony in the evening (TBC).
Thursday, 8 October: owners' briefing in the morning and warning signal for the first race
Friday 9 October: races followed by Stadium Race in Bacino San Giusto at sunset.
Saturday 10 October: races and award ceremony
Sunday 11 October: Barcolana 58 - Autumn Cup
