Barcolana Ticket To Race

If you are a racing sailor and you don't have a boat in Trieste, but you want to take part in the Barcolana, the event organizers, the Società Velica di Barcola e Grignano, have a solution right for you!
You can register to the Barcolana as a sailor: the yacht club will include you in a competitive crew of Ticket To Race sailors like you.

Each boat will have its own skipper: in the training scheduled for Saturday your level of experience will be tested, and you will be included in the crew based on your skills and safety.

The Ticket To Race registration includes:

• from 44' to 50' full-sails boat with skipper, provided by SVBG
• Registration of the sailor in the Barcolana regatta as a member of the crew
• Presence of a skipper on board
• Boat registration in the regatta

 
The boat will be moored on the banks of Trieste in the heart of the Barcolana Village.
It is possible for competitors, without additional costs, to use the boat on Friday and Saturday nights for an overnight stay (attention: no service included).
To register you must be in compliance with Italian Sailing Federation membership, or, if foreign, with your national federation.
The conditions and defined in the Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions apply to the individual sailor.
Each competitor must provide their own technical equipment.
