Barcolana Waterpolo, organised in collaboration with Pallanuoto Trieste and Waterpolo Project a.s.d., returns on Sunday, 4 October 2026 for its third edition, highlighting Trieste’s enduring passion for water polo. This year, the event features two key moments: in the morning an invitational four-team tournament will take place at the San Giovanni Municipal Pool; in the afternoon the public can enjoy an exhibition match on the floating pitch in front of Piazza Unità, followed by the tournament awards ceremony at the Barcolana Infopoint in Piazza Unità.
