The most popular regatta dedicated to the Optimist class takes place in Trieste. The regatta, which is also the fouth stage of the Trofeo Optimist Italia Kinder Joy of Moving, is open to helmsmen born between 2011 and 2017. Base of operations is the Bacino Zero in the Porto Vecchio, which welcomes the youngest sailors.
