Go to Barcolana Sfida Adriatica, the approach circuit to Barcolana promoted by Assonautica Italiana, is back. The event returns for its third edition with the tried-and-tested route introduced last year, spanning the entire Adriatic and calling at some of the most beautiful and iconic locations along our sea.
From 12 September to 10 October 2026, four major events will accompany sailors and enthusiasts on a unique journey along the coastline. It will be an intense month of wind, sea and competition, but also of friendship, sport and shared passion.
Go to Barcolana Sfida Adriatica will open with the Pizzomunno Cup in Manfredonia (12–13 September), the historic regatta of the Gargano area. Immediately afterwards, on 13 September, the spotlight will move to Pescara for Velandiamo, the major sailing celebration that each year brings together dozens of boats and enthusiasts. On 20 September, the circuit will head north to Ancona, home to the renowned Regata del Conero, one of the most attended sailing events on the central Adriatic coast. Finally, on 8 October, the circuit will conclude with the Go To Barcolana da Ravenna – Trofeo Gruppo Hera, which will symbolically escort the fleet towards Trieste and Barcolana 58 presented by Generali.
Each participant will receive a commemorative gift from the event, but the real challenge will be securing a place in the final standings: eligibility will be reserved for those taking part in at least two of the first three events, as well as the Ravenna regatta.
The grand finale will take place in Trieste on Friday 9 October, in the prestigious setting of the Chamber of Commerce, with the prize-giving ceremony made possible thanks to the support of Assonautica Trieste.
