Go to Barcolana Sfida Adriatica, the circuit leading up to Barcolana promoted by Assonautica Italiana, is back. The event returns for its second edition, bigger and better, with a brand-new stop in Manfredonia joining the route. This addition makes the circuit even more exciting, connecting the whole Adriatic through sailing, sport and passion.
From 14 September to 9 October 2025, four unmissable events will take crews and sailing fans on a journey along the coast, celebrating some of the Adriatic’s most iconic locations. It will be a month of racing and rivalry, but also of friendship, community and the joy of being at sea.
The adventure kicks off with the Pizzomunno Cup in Manfredonia (13–14 September), a historic Gargano regatta now officially part of the Challenge. On 14 September, all eyes turn to Pescara for Velandiamo, the city’s annual sailing festival, bringing together dozens of boats and fans.
On 21 September, the fleet heads to Ancona for the legendary Regata del Conero, one of the Adriatic’s most popular races. The circuit then closes on 9 October with the Go To Barcolana from Ravenna – Gruppo Hera Trophy, a symbolic journey leading the fleet to Trieste and the iconic Barcolana57 presented by Generali.
Every crew will take home a souvenir, but the real prize is a spot in the overall ranking: to qualify, teams must compete in at least two of the first three races plus the Ravenna event.
The Grand Finale takes place in Trieste, on Friday 10 October, at the prestigious Chamber of Commerce, where the awards ceremony will be hosted thanks to the support of Assonautica Trieste.
