The Barcolana Classic is the regatta that honors the legendary vintage boats. This event, dedicated to sailing enthusiasts, will feature grand yachts that have sailed ocean routes, small Lussin schooners, hulls designed by the master Carlo Sciarrelli, and vessels that have made IOR history. On October 10th, in the picturesque setting of the Gulf of Trieste, vintage sails will elegantly parade in the San Giusto Basin at 10:30 AM, followed by a coastal or triangular course regatta, depending on the weather conditions.
Barcolana Classic is part of the Adriatic Classic Trophy, a circuit that brings together three prestigious sailing competitions dedicated to vintage and classic boats:
- Hannibal Classic
- Trofeo Città di Trieste
- Barcolana Classic
Those who participate in the entire circuit will benefit from a single registration at advantageous conditions on registration fees and priority mooring at the organising clubs.
As in previous years, those who are registered for the Barcolana Classic and are eligible for the Barcolana 58 Autumn Cup already have their registration included with that for the Classic. Those who have already registered for the Barcolana and have already paid the registration fee will receive a refund at the end of the event.
