Marij Čuk, journalist and writer, was chief editor of the Slovenian-language Rai Friuli Venezia Giulia office. As he already did in his previous romance “Fiamme nere”, in “Foiba” (Mladika edizioni) the writer retraces one of the most tragic and painful moments in Trieste's history by combining imagination and reality, in a style that often approaches poetry.
