Once again this year, the Italian Sailing Federation will enthusiastically take part in Barcolana Week, reaffirming its commitment to promoting youth sailing within one of the most prestigious and engaging settings on the international sailing scene.
The 2025 edition will take place in Trieste from Monday 6th to Wednesday 8th October, with a programme designed to offer young athletes a unique opportunity for competition, sporting development, and camaraderie.
The event will kick off on Monday afternoon with an initial race – weather permitting – and will move into full swing on Tuesday with a full day of racing. Wednesday will be reserved as a potential catch-up day.
The classes involved will be: Waszp and Wingfoil – disciplines that embody the energy and innovation of the new generation of sailing. For each class, the Federal Youth Department will select ten of the best Italian athletes, offering them a dynamic and inspiring experience in the unique atmosphere of the Barcolana.
This participation further strengthens the bond between the Federation and one of the most iconic events in Italian sailing, with a focus on talent, passion, and the future.
