After translating Charlotte and Emily Brontë, Doris Lessing, Willa Cather, Shirley Jackson (as well as the unforgettable James G. Ballard), eleven years ago she made her debut as an author with a surprising and all-too-soon forgotten book: “È di vetro quest’aria”, which won the Renato Fucini Prize in 2014. With “Inverness”, she placed third in the final round of the 2025 Campiello Prize.
