Barcolana Mixed Offshore European Championship by Nastro Rosa

And after the foil, a traditional 30-foot hull lands in Barcolana, but with an innovative program that will lead up to the 2024 Olympics.

On Friday 11 October, the Barcolana will host the arrival of the first edition of the Barcolana Nastro Rosa Mixed Offshore European Championship, the European championship that launches seven mixed crews that will face, for the first time, the new Olympic specialty that will be tested in Paris 2024, a regatta offshore on a 30-foot keeled hull, in a small crew consisting of a man and a woman.

The European Championship, with the patronage of Eurosaf, the European Sailing Federation and the FIV, starts on Wednesday 9 October from Venice to reach Trieste after 187 miles of navigation: the arrival will be in front of Barcola, and the hulls will participate on Sunday at the Barcolana with the same crews enriched with additional people on board.
