Yesterday the final and decisive stretch of the circuit took place, organised by the Società Triestina Sport del Mare as part of the Barcolana events. After the first three races on Friday, today three more regattas took place, with a gentle western wind. Two victories today for the British Black Seal of Richard Thompson, who on-board depends on two Englishmen and three locals (Stefano Cherin, Andrea Tesej and Sara Zuppin) whereas the first of the three races had the other British entry, Gill Race Tea of James Peter in the lead. Melgina of Paolo Brescia (Simon Sivitz Kosuta, Jas Farneti, Riccardo Tonini, Jan Bassi) maintains the first place in the provisional ranking thanks to a third and fourth with a discarded fifth, and still has a vantage point to be administered on the second, Black seal. Tomorrow, starting at 10.30am the last three regattas left to end the stretch and the entire seasonal circuit will be held.
