Two races – one of which with a shortened course due to the lack of wind – during the last day of the European Sailing Series of the Melges 24 @Barcolana, organized by the Società Triestina Sport del Mare. Even so, the competitive spirit was not missing, in particular between the two crews which were aiming to win. With a second and fifth place today, Black Seal of Richard Thompson (Stefano Cherin, Nigel young, Andrea Tesej, Ewan O’Keefe, Sara Zuppin – Guernsey SC) won the sixth and final stretch of the circuit, tied (but first in the tiebreaker) with Melgina of Paolo Brescia (Simon Sivitz kossuta, Jas Farneti, Riccardo Tonini, Jan Bassi – Yacht Club Italiano), who closes in second position but is the champion of the entire European Sailing Series of the circuit, concluded in Trieste after a total of six rounds. Third place in the regattas of Trieste for the German White Room of Michael Tarabocchia (Sebastian Bueler, Marco Tarabocchia, Michael Tarabocchia, Mathy Thomas – YCC) who is first in the Corinthian – the classification of the non-professionals – a result he obtained also in the general ranking of the European Sailing Series.
