Portopiccolo Maxi Race: the second Barcolana warm-up still sees Arca in first position

A day of light breezes in Sistiana, where the second race of the Portopiccolo Maxi Race was an opportunity to prepare for the Barcolana and experience a day dedicated to yachting in Portopiccolo.

The regatta course was a triangle to be completed twice: Wild Thing Arca of Furio Benussi maintained the first position completing his second solo. Second place once again went to Anywave Safilens of Alberto Leghissa, who recouped in the last stretch of the course compared to Clean Sport One, who then came third, followed by Anemos II Allianz, Pegaso, Brava and E…Vai. The provisional ranking after two races sees Wild Thing in the lead, followed by Anywave Safilens and Anemos II.

Tomorrow the Maxis will take part in the 50th edition of the Bernetti regatta, organized by the Società Nautica Pietas Julia. The award ceremony of the Portopiccolo Maxi Race is scheduled for tomorrow at 4.30pm, in the little square in Portopiccolo where the “Vento e Vele” exhibition by Carlo Borlenghi will be open to the public.
