It was the team Davide De Pra – Matteo Metullio of Harry’s Piccolo Restaurant Bistrò, who won the first edition of the Barcolana Sea Chef. The Sirocco wind, at 8 knots, challenged the chefs who were competing in a triangle race aboard the glorious G34s. The regatta was formed by three crews: second place went to the “team Ceraudo”, the third to that composed by Nino Rossi and Giacomo Sacchetto. The chefs competed with some of the best “women in sailing” of the Società Velica di Barcola e Grignano (Jamila Cerdeira, Michela Stefani, Carlotta Omari, Silvia Versolatto, Jana Germani e Giorgia Bertuzzi). In the afternoon, the chefs took off their oilskins and slipped back into their Toque Blanches in order to prepare the menu for the event.
