Entries open for the Barcolana Classic - SIAD Trophy

Entries are now open for the Barcolana Classic - SIAD Trophy, the regatta reserved to vintage, classic and spirit of tradition yachts - and for the third year to IOR boats - organised by the Società Velica di Barcola e Grignano.

The event is dedicated to the ladies of the sea - from the large yachts that have sailed the ocean routes to the small Lošinj floats, from the loving restorations carried out by local shipwrights to the hulls designed by Carlo Sciarrelli and those that have made the history of the IOR. On Saturday 7 October they will once again colour the sea of Trieste, first with an exciting parade in Bacino San Giusto scheduled at 10.30 am and then with the traditional regatta with a coastal route or triangle in the middle of the Gulf, depending on the weather.

For the participants of the Barcolana Classic the SVBG will provide free moorings located in a dedicated area of the Rive di Trieste; places are available subject as long as they last and can be booked by making a request to the organisers. 

Also this year, Barcolana Classic - Trofeo SIAD will be celebrated with an official and dedicated polo shirt, made by the Exclusive Clothing Partner Murphy&Nye, gifted at registration to each boat owner. Hulls taking part in the Barcolana Classic - in compliance with all the provisions of the Notice of Race of Barcolana 55 presented by Generali - are automatically entered also in the Sunday race, the Barcolana, on 8 October. They will only have to perfect their registration by following the instructions they will receive via email from the organisation.
