On Saturday 7 October 2023 at 12.00 noon, on board Nave Palinuro, a press conference to present the "International Sailing Week 2024 Naval Academy and City of Livorno"

On Saturday 7 October 2023 at 12.00 noon, on board Nave Palinuro, moored at Pier IV in the port of Trieste, a press conference will be held to present the event "International Sailing Week 2024 Naval Academy and City of Livorno", which will take place from 19 April 2024 to 28 April 2024.

Speakers will include:
Captain Gian Carlo Fabiano of the Naval Academy;
Professor Gian Luca Conti, President of the Livorno Yacht Club;
Dr. Andrea Mazzoni, President of the Livorno Sailing Clubs Committee.

The International Sailing Week is an important sporting event in Tuscany, focusing on the world of sailing. The event includes a large number of regatta classes, both dinghy and offshore, including the RAN 630, the longest offshore regatta in the Mediterranean, 630 miles along the Livorno - Porto Cervo - Capri - Livorno route.
Also on the "week" programme is the "Naval Academies Regatta" organised by the Livorno Naval Academy, which in its 2023 edition involved 24 nations from 4 different continents.
The event in the last edition registered 600 regatta participants and is also characterised by social and cultural events, which through a model of inter-institutional cooperation sees the city of Livorno come alive with the presence of many initiatives for protagonists and spectators, organised both at the Naval Academy and along the entire Labronico coastline.
