Registration is now open on the official Barcolana website for the
Barcolana Solaris Adriatic Cup, a regatta dedicated to the fleet of yacht owners from the historic Aquileia shipyard. Organized by the
Yacht Club Portopiccolo and the Società Velica di Barcola e Grignano, this event takes place in the stunning setting of Portopiccolo.
"After the Solaris Cup in Porto Rotondo, where we set a record with 102 Solaris yachts in the water, we are confident about the success of this new event. This brings us closer to our Adriatic yacht owners and our local community. It's a significant year for the shipyard, and we couldn't imagine a better conclusion than at the Barcolana" said
Federico Gambini, President of Solaris Yachts.
"Over the years, we have planned events at the Barcolana that allow different groups of yacht owners to have their moment to compete, focusing on specific categories. This is the case with the Barcolana Maxi, and now with this new edition of the Barcolana Adriatic Solaris Cup. This event celebrates the finest boats 'made in Friuli Venezia Giulia,' a true pride of our region with much to promote in yachting. We welcome the owners of the Barcolana Solaris Cup to Trieste with great enthusiasm, aiming to provide them with an excellent racing venue and plenty of fun on land" added
Dean Bassi, Sports Director of SVBG.
