Diodato live in Trieste: Barcolana's special concert
Diodato will be the star of Barcolana’s special concert: the event will take place on Saturday, 4 October 2025, at 9.00 PM in Piazza Ponterosso, Trieste. The concert, with free admission, is organised by the Società Velica di Barcola e Grignano together with VignaPR and FVG Music Live, in collaboration with the Municipality of Trieste and PromoTurismoFVG.
Recognised as one of the most intense and sophisticated singer-songwriters on today’s Italian scene, Diodato returns to perform in Friuli Venezia Giulia after years of touring in Italy and abroad. Blending rock, folk influences and the great tradition of Italian songwriting, his style has made him one of the most acclaimed and award-winning voices in Italian music.
After winning the Sanremo Music Festival 2020 with Fai rumore, Diodato went on to receive numerous prestigious awards including the David di Donatello, Nastro d’Argento, Ciak d’Oro, the Amnesty International Italy Prize, and the Targa Tenco. In recent years he has taken his music across Europe, the Americas, China and Brazil, before returning to the Ariston stage in 2024 with Ti muovi (certified gold).
The Trieste concert will be one of the highlights of Barcolana, the world’s largest sailing regatta, giving the audience the chance to experience the emotional intensity and energy of Diodato’s live performances – always at the heart of his artistic journey.
