“Unplastic the sea”: joining forces for a cleaner Gulf of Trieste
Hera Group and EstEnergy – Barcolana’s traditional partners - stand by the WWF Miramare Marine Protected Area this year, to support and promote beach and seabed clean-ups. The project relies on the collaboration of Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and Arpa FVG (Regional Environment Agency) and aims to involve Trieste’s community Trieste in real actions to protect the sea.

The hulls of the Mixed Offshore European Championship are on their way
The first edition of the Barcolana Nastro Rosa Mixed Offshore European Championship is expected to arrive tonight or tomorrow: the European championship that launches seven mixed crews that will face, for the first time, the new Olympic specialty that will be tested in Paris 2024, a regatta offshore on a 30-foot keeled hull, in a small crew consisting of a man and a woman.
