Barcolana Nuota, online registration open

Registration is open for Barcolana Nuota (Barcolana Swims), the open water swimming competition organised in collaboration with Unione Sportiva Triestina Nuoto (Trieste's Swimming Club) and thanks to Acqua Dolomia’s support.

Registration is fully online at www.barcolana.it and will be open until Wednesday 28 September 2022 at midnight, for a maximum of 350 participants.

COURSE AND PRIZES – Participants will compete in a 1-km-long race starting and finishing in Molo IV (on San Giorgio basin’s side). This year, once again, all boats will start together at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday 2 October. More details will be provided to all participants via e-mail.

The awards ceremony will take place on the same day at 2:00 p.m. in Piazza dell’Unità. Medals will be awarded to the first three overall winners for the male category and the female category as well as to the winners of each year-of-birth category.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE – All open water swimming lovers having a valid medical certificate of fitness for competitive and non-competitive sport activity and/or a valid International Life Saving Federation card. Foreign athletes must be in compliance with the medical regulations in force in their home countries and have a federal card for swimming or similar activities.
