Lexus raffled among entrants handed over to winner

The Lexus UX250 Hybrid 2WD, offered as a prize among the 1773 participants in the Barcolana55 presented by Generali, has been handed over to the winner, Theo Nonis, owner of 'Metro Più Metro Meno' from Yacht Club Lignano. The draw took place on Saturday, October 7.

“I am truly delighted to have met Theo Nonis' family," commented Mitja Gialuz, President of the Società Velica di Barcola e Grignano. "The fortunate boat owner who won the Lexus. It had been 13 years since they last participated in the Barcolana, a true twist of fate that they registered this year, came second in their category (23rd overall), and also won a beautiful hybrid car. 'Metro Più Metro Meno' is a boat I raced against in the late '90s, which had been in the shipyard for some time. It was a particularly exciting moment, as only the Barcolana can provide."
