Boat Parade prizegiving

On Sunday afternoon, the SVBG awarded prizes to the clubs and crews that stood out for their number of participants and originality during the Boat Parade. The ceremony, held at the Villaggio IN Italia, in the presence of the President of Difesa Servizi, Gioacchino Alfano, and CEO Luca Andreoli, celebrated the enthusiasm and creative spirit displayed at sea.

Among the clubs with the highest number of participants, Società Triestina della Vela was recognised in the "Sail and Motor" category, with 63 registered members, while in the "Oars and Paddles" category, the top prize went to Canottieri Saturnia, which reached a total of 46 participants.

A special award was given to the crews who best interpreted the arrival of Nave Vespucci with creativity and a carnival spirit. Fantasia Plus from Diporto Nautico Sistiana and the Megasup from Cral Trieste won in the "Sail and Motor" and "Oars and Paddles" categories, respectively. Furthermore, to celebrate the originality of the best carnival costumes, the most imaginative crews were presented with a voucher offered by Motomarine.

A special mention was awarded to Martina Jelovcich, president of the Circolo della Vela Muggia, for the originality of her costume, which perfectly captured the festive spirit of the event.
