The Barcolana e-sailing tournament continues: at the moment, 8,173 e-sailors are involved worldwide in the virtual qualifying tests.

The Tuesday before the Barcolana race has always been dedicated to social awareness and integration. 

This year’s super testimonial has reached Trieste. Vicky Song, the first Chinese sailor to join the event, will help us give publicity to our regatta worldwide. 

Yesterday a tragedy struck the city of Trieste. Barcolana and illycaffé join the pain and mourning of the city, proclaimed by Mayor Roberto Dipiazza for the day today, Saturday 5 October 2019, and cancel Barcolana Chef as a sign of grief and respect for the families, for the Police and for all men and women of the law enforcements.

A day that started so well, with the joy of all the children in Piazza dell'Unità has turned into a painful moment of mourning for Trieste. We have suspended today's events, and we will follow the city mourning announced by the Mayor of Trieste for tomorrow, canceling all the scheduled events. Barcolana stands by the families of the two policemen, the men and women who wear the uniform and our city.
