After hosting them at Barcolana51 last October, we returned the visit by going to Milan for the official presentation of the Persico69F CUP, the first season of the foiling monotype circuit dedicated to the general public.
The debut of the circuit is scheduled in Cagliari on April 23^rd, with the second stage taking place in Geneva from June 16^th and the third is scheduled in Gargnano from July 7^th to the 26^th.
The grand finale will be in Trieste, along with three weeks of activities that will conclude during Barcolana52!

During the award ceremony the "Trofeo dell'Ultimo Arrivato" (the trophy for the last place), which underlines the true spirit of Barcolana, will be awarded.

The last boat to cross the finish line of the Barcolana Regatta presented by Generali is a crew made up of Serbian, Montenegrin and Italian (from Brianza) dentists.
 

In the morning, Barcolana welcomed and crowned the sailors of the Mixed Offshore European Championship, a new sailing discipline that will become an Olympic sport in 2024.
